Przygoda z fotografią zaczęła się już dawno, ale na poważnie w 2010 w ramach praktyk dla portalu DLASTUDENTA.PL (czerwiec 2010 – czerwiec 2012, Wrocław). Później przyszedł czas na fotografię koncertów rockowo-metalowych dla DARKPLANET.PL (styczeń 2012 – styczeń 2014, Poznań). Następnie była przygoda z fotografią podróżniczą po Polsce i Włoszech dla  GETYOURGUIDE (czerwiec 2013 – czerwiec 2015). Dzięki rekomendacji, udało się dostać do banku zdjęć tj. GETTYIMAGES czy EyeEm. Cały czas zajmuję się fotografią pod własnym nazwiskiem, DALECKA.PL, jako wolny strzelec. Fotografia jest moją pasją i zajmuję się nią w wolnej chwili, gdyż na co dzień prowadzę własną szkołę językową o nazwie DREVNIKOCUR.PL 😉

A friend of mine, who knew I was fond of taking pics, let me know about an internship as a photojournalist at a students’ web portal called DLASTUDENTA.PL (June 2010). I remember I was going to WOODSTOCK festival then and I thought: “I could take photos with my second-hand analogue camera which I’ve just bought at a resale shop!”. Surprisingly, my application was accepted! I was on cloud 9! 🙂 I cooperated with this portal for 2 yrs. Due to this internship, I met many people connected with festivals, musicians, journalists, etc. In the meantime, I started taking photos at concerts for a rock-metal web portal called DARKPLANET.PL (Jan. 2012 – Jan. 2014).

One night when I got bored, I was dreaming about becoming a travel photographer and I came across a job advert. Without any hesitation, I sent my application and CV. I even forgot about that and after 2 weeks I received a positive reply from GetYourGuide! 🙂 I was travelling all over my country – Poland, and, I also covered the tour in Vatican City between June 2013 and 2015.

Somewhere in between I was an intern at an Italian advertising agency and set up my own business. During my stay in Italy I took plenty of photographs. I got to a stock photography market (EyeEm and Getty Images).

Everyday I focus on teaching English, but in the evenings or nights I devote my time to photography – my passion. What I enjoy most is photojournalism (esp. concerts and other cultural events) and documentary photography (esp. of god-forsaken places) 😉

I realize I am not a professional, but I take pics the way I feel and experience the surrounding 😉
